How to activate or enable the Google Assistant

Google Assistant
Last year Google Assistant app was launched to tackle Apple Siri. The Google Assitant was launched for the Android marshmallow and nougat at that time, but during the Mobile World Congress, LG, Nokia, and other companies revealed, that they're gonna launch Assistant in their upcoming smartphones. If you don't know, what is Google Assistant? Then you can perform all the actions by your voice. If you never activated the Google Assistant, then I'm going to tell you about-

How to activate the Google Assistant-

  • Be confirmed, that your Google Play Service is updated with a version of 10.2.98. If you don't have Google Play service then update that now.
  • Change the smartphone language to the English. Go to the "Settings" Tap on the "Language and Input".
  • Now check the latest version of the Google App. If the Google app is not updated, then update that app now.
  • Now go to the App setting and clear the cache memory of Google app. After clearing the cache memory, click the home button. When you will press the home button, then your smartphone will ask to start the Google Assistant. Now your Google Assistant is Activated.
Apart from the Google Assistant, Samsung launched its Bixby button. The Bixby is "Artificial Intelligence Based Virtual Assistant".

How will this work-

In the Samsung Galaxy S8, you have to use a dedicated button for the Bixby. This button is below the volume button, you have to just press and command. Let me tell you that, Bixby works only with voice command. If you have taken the screenshot by the Bixby, then it will ask you, who to send? This is good, but we have to admit Google Assistant is developed but Bixby is in developing stage.
