What is Bluetooth? and How does it work?

How does Bluetooth work

Bluetooth is Wireless LAN(Local Area Network) technology, which connects with the other devices like smartphones, computers, earphones etc. The Bluetooth Lan is an Ad-hoc network, which means it forms instantly without any delay. Many gadgets connect with each other, which is called the Piconet network. A Bluetooth LAN can be connected to the internet too. The Bluetooth can't be larger than nature. The Bluetooth has many applications, and this LAN can connect each gadget with each other, like Wireless-mouse, Wireless-Keyboard etc. You can connect the home security devices with the control panel of that system. You can sync your laptop's display with the other devices too, with the Bluetooth. The Bluetooth was a project started by the Ericcson company. The Bluetooth is named on the king of the Denmark, the king name was Herald Ballatand.

Bluetooth Devices

The Bluetooth contains a short-range transmitter, which works on the 2.4 GHz BandWidth. The maximum speed of the Bluetooth is 1 Mbps.

Bluetooth Layer

There are the two types of the layers: 1-(Radio Layer) & 2-(Baseband Layer)

What is Radio Layer-

The Radio layer of the Bluetooth is almost equal to the Internet physical layer. The Bluetooth contains less power, that's its speed is less and the maximum distance is only 10 meters. The Bluetooth works on the 2.4 GHz frequency, where 1 MHz contains 79 channels. Bluetooth hops 1,600 times in one second, which means Bluetooth changes its frequency by 1,600 times in one second.

What is Baseband layer?

The Baseband layer is equal to the MAC sublevel in LAN. The access method is TDMA, which uses primary and secondary time slots at the different time slots, which means during the frequency it sends a frame by the primary or secondary sender. The secondary sender sends the frames to primary sender because secondary frames can't send frames to each other.
