Under display fingerprint sensor smartphone, Vivo X20 Plus UD launched in the CES 2018. Vivo listed this smartphone on the Chinese website. Let me tell you, this is the first phone with the under display fingerprint sensor.
The display type of this phone is AMOLED, which can be seen on the Samsung's smartphones., the display of this phone contains the Clear ID 9500 sensor which is made by the Synaptic. The price of this phone is 3,599 Yuan (570$).
This phone is launched with the only Black color variant, in which you will get the Gold color rim on the around the corner of this phone. Another main highlight of this phone is dual-camera setup on the rear side of this phone.
The Vivo X20 Plus UD is an upgraded variant of the last year's Vivo X20 Plus. The main difference between new X20 Plus and the old X20 Plus is the under display fingerprint sensor, which can unlock this phone in just some milliseconds, its thickness is 1.5 mm, which works as the screen protector too.
The new fingerprint of this phone will change the all smartphones fingerprint sensors soon. The main focus of the Synaptic is to manufacture 70 million units this year.

The phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processors, which comes with a 4 GB RAM. The 4 GB RAM is available for good multitasking. The phone contains the 64 GB Internal memory, which can be expanded up to 256 GB via memory card.
Camera-
Vivo X20 Plus UD comes with a dual-camera setup on the rear side of this phone. The rear camera of this phone comes with a 12+5MP. The 12 MP camera of this phone comes with an aperture of f/1.8, which is the main camera on the rear side of this phone. The secondary camera of this phone comes with a 5 MP sensor. The main camera of this phone comes with some manual settings to get good shots.
The rear camera of this phone can record the videos at the 4K resolution, which comes with 4 times more pixels than the Full-high definition video-recording. This phone can record slow-motion videos too.
The front camera of this phone comes with a 12 MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.0. The front camera of this is usable for video-calling and selfies.
Other Features-
The Vivo X20 Plus UD is a dual-Sim phone but the bad thing about this phone, this comes with a Hybrid Sim slot, where you will be able to use one Sim card and memory card or two Sim cards with a memory card. The phone runs on the Android 7.0 nougat.
The phone supports 4G VoLTE, with 2G, and 3G band. This phone comes with a support of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi etc. This phone is listed on this official Vivo website, but the availability and pricing of this not reaveled in the international market.
Verdict or decision-
The Vivo X20 Plus UD became the first phone with under display fingerprint sensor. The phone price is 570$, which seems to be high for this phone. The phone will be available in the Black color option, which means you won't be able to choose your favorite color for this smartphone, which is again a bad thing about this phone.
This phone comes with a large 6.43 Inches display, which is good for those who like to use larger display, and the phone's display is an infinity display, which looks good. The resolution of this display is only 1080x2160 pixels, but the AMOLED display confirms the good quality of the screen. This phone is good but the Yu Yutopia comes with a Quad-HD display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, with 4 GB RAM. That phone gives you much better specifications and features at this phone's price.
Let me talk about the processors of this phone, the phone runs on the on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processors with 4 GB RAM, which is good but not the best in this price segment.
The phone comes with a dual-camera setup on the rear side, which seems to be good. But there are too many phones which contain better cameras than this Vivo X20 Plus UD, like this one Google Pixel 2 and upcoming iPhone SE2.
If you are buying this phone, then there must be a single reason, which is under display fingerprint sensor. Soon this feature will be available on the other phones too, so my verdict is to wait and buy another phone and this phone gets a kick. If you wanna buy now, then you can buy Yu Yutopia with 21 MP Sony Exmor sensor with a Quad-HD display.
