Nokia 3.1 2018 vs Nokia 3 is the main purpose of this article because Nokia 2.1, 3.1, and 5.1 are launched in Russia, these are the upgraded variants of Nokia 2, Nokia 3, and Nokia 5, which were launched last year in Mobile World Congress. 

The smartphones are revealed in Russia, but the internal launch date of these smartphones is not confirmed by the company, but HMD Global is planning to launch these phones in the July this year in maximum markets, but still, there is no confirmation about the launch date of my favorite Nokia X6 2018. 

let me remind you again, the Nokia 2.1 is the Android One smartphone of the company and Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 comes with the normal Android. This is the dual-Sim smartphone, which comes with the Nano Sim card slots.
The two variants of this phone launched like the Nokia 5.1 2018. The first variant of this phone is launched with the 16 GB internal storage and the 2 GB RAM. The price of this variant is 139 Euros, which gets around of $159 of the USA.

The higher variant of this new Nokia phone is launched with the 3 GB of RAM and the internal storage of the 32 GB. The price of this variant is 169 Euros, which gets around $199 of the USA.

The front side of this new Nokia phone is made of the Glass, which was unavailable in the last variant of this phone. Yuu will love to know, both the smartphones are launched with the Aluminum frame and the plastic back.

The new Nokia phone comes with the 0.2 inches larger display than the last one because the real Nokia phone was launched with the 5 Inches display but the new Nokia phone is launched with the 5.2 Inches.

The Same  IPS LCD technology is used in this smartphone too, which is good because this technology helps you to get the good viewing angles and good colors in the same price range.
The New Nokia phone is launched with the infinity display, the display of this phone comes with the display ratio of 18:9, Where the Last Nokia was launched with the display ratio of the 16:9. The screen to body ratio of the new Nokia phone is 69.4%. The last Nokia was launched with the screen to body ratio of 67.3%. 

The new Nokia phone is launched with the display resolution of the 720x1440 Pixels, where the last Nokia phone was launched with the display resolution of the 720x1280 Pixels. The resolution of the display of this phone is increased by the HMD Global, that's why the pixel density of this phone is improved to 310 PPi than the last 294 PPi.

Both the smartphone's display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass( Unspecified version), which makes them tough.

The display ratio of this new Nokia phone is improved a little bit but this time the infinity display is used in this smartphone, which is trending these days. The phone is launched with the decent display and the IPS LCD makes this better but without any doubt, this is not the best display.

Both the smartphones come with the Android 8.0 Oreo, and good news for you, these both will get the Android P update too. These are the latest Android smartphones and according to the HMD Global, they both will get the updates for next two years at least.
The last Nokia was launched with the 1.4 GHz Quad-core MediaTek 6737 processors, but the new Nokia comes with the octa-core processors of the MediaTek 6750, which is impressive. There are the two chipsets are launched in this phone, the first Quad-core chipset comes with the 1.5 GHz clock-speed and another chipset comes with the 1 GHz clock-speed, which helps to increase the battery of this phone.

For the Graphics, this new phone is launched with the Mali-T860 MP2 GPU, where the last phone was launched with the Mali-T720 MP1 GPU. 

The last Nokia was launched with the 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, but this time the New Nokia comes with the 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage and another one comes with the 3 GB RAM, and the internal storage of 32 GB. Both the phones are expandable up to 256 GB via memory card.

The new Nokia phone comes with the really better processing power, the GPU of this phone is upgraded too, which is really good. The phone is launched with the better specifications and better processing power.

The last Nokia was launched with the single camera and this phone comes with the single camera too, this time dual-camera setup is not given by the company too.

Last Nokia was launched with the 8 MP on the rear, but this time, the camera of this phone is increased to 13 MP. The LED flash is placed on both the cameras.

There is no change made in the front camera of this phone. Both the smartphones come with the 8 MP sensor on the front, which is capable to record the 702P videos at the 30 Frames per second. The front camera of both the phones comes with the aperture size of f/2.0.

According to me, the camera setups are good on this new phone. The rear 13 MP camera and front 8 MP camera is good to take images and Selfies, but 4K video recording is not given by the company, but it is not big deal in this price range.
Both the phones are 4G and come with the VoLTE support too. This phone comes with the Bluetooth, Wi-Fi etc like the other Android phones. The fingerprint sensor is not given by the company in both the phones.

The phone is launched with the 2,990 mAh non-removable battery, the old Nokia was launched with the 2,630 mAh battery. Both the phones don't support Quick-Charging.

Nokia 3.1 2018 vs Nokia 3: Final verdict-

The new Nokia phone comes with the better display, better processors, and better cameras. The phone is good but the major drawback is no fingerprint sensor in this phone. The phone looks good but again I have to say the phone is overpriced, it is good to go Nokia X6 2018 in the same price range.
