Nokia 5.1 2018 vs Nokia 5 is the main highlight of this article, because Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1, and Nokia 5.1 are launched in Russia today after the Nokia 6.1 2018. These smartphones are the upgraded variants of the last year's Nokia 2, Nokia 3, and Nokia 5.

The launch date of these smartphones are not confirmed yet, but HMD Global is planning to launch these smartphones in the international market this July. The Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 come with the normal Android operating systems, while Nokia 2.1 comes with the Android Go edition, which is made for the lite users.

The Nokia 5.1 2018 is the most powerful and premium smartphone between these all the three phones. Copper, Tempered Blue, and Black colors of this phone are launched. This is the dual-Sim phone which comes with the support of the Nano-Sim cards.
Two variants of this phone are launched, the first variant of this phone comes with the 2 GB RAM and the internal storage of 16 GB. The price of this variant is 189 Euro, which gets around $221.

Nokia 5.1 2018 vs Nokia 5 display comparison-

The new Nokia phone comes with the larger display size than the old Nokia 5. The same IPS LCD Technology is used in this phone too, which enhances the colors and gives good viewing angles.

The display size of this phone is 0.3 Inches larger than the Nokia 2 2017. The new Nokia 5.1 comes with the 5.5 Inches display, where real Nokia 2 was launched with the 5.2 Inches display size, but Nokia enhances one thing here, which is the screen to body ratio.

The last phone's screen to body ratio was 68.7%, where the new Nokia 5.1 Screen to body ratio is 73.1$, which gives a larger display in a compact size.
The Nokia 5.1 comes with the FHD+ infinity display. The Nokia 5 was launched with the display ratio of 16:9, but this Nokia 5.1 2018 is launched with the display ratio of 18:9, which is trending these days.

The Original Nokia phone was launched with the display resolution of the 720x1280 Pixels, while this new Nokia phone comes with the 1080x2160 resolutions. The pixel density of last Nokia phone was 294 PPi but this phone comes with the much better pixel density of 440 PPi.

Without any doubt, the Nokia 5.1 2018 display is really improved from the last time, means you get better resolution, better screen to body ratio, better pixel density and better everything in this new variant of the Nokia 5

Nokia 5.1 2018 VS Nokia 5 buy

Nokia 5.1 2018 vs Nokia 5 OS, Storage, and processors comparison-

Both the phones come with the Android 8.1 Oreo update and let me tell you one thing more, if you have not read my last article about the old Nokia, both the phones will be updated in the Android P too, and Android Q will be there too.

The last Nokia 5 2017 was launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processors with the 1.4 GHz maximum clock-speed.  The Cortex-A53 was used in that phone, and the processing power of that phone is good.

The new Nokia 5.1 2018 is launched with the MediaTek Helio P18 processors, the Octa-core is used in this smartphone and the maximum clock-speed of new processors is 2 GHz.

The processors of the new Nokia phone are much better than the old one, but still, old processors were good enough to handle the multitasking and performance with the ease. The Helio P18 works well if we compare these both the processors.

I have told you about the RAM and the internal storage of this phone, and both the variants are launched with the same RAM and the same internal storage, you will love to know, both the phone's memory is expandable up to 256 GB via memory card.

Nokia 5.1 2018 vs Nokia 5: Camera-

The last Nokia phone was launched with the single camera and this time this phone is launched with the single-camera setup too but many things are changed in this new smartphone of the Nokia.
The last Nokia phone was launched with the 13 MP camera sensor, but the new Nokia phone is launched with the better 16 MP camera, let me tell you both the smartphones are launched with the Dual-tone LED Flash and PDAF sensor, which helps to focus on the moving objects with the ease.

The 4K capability is not available in both the smartphones, both the phones are capable to record the 1080P videos at the 30 Frames per second.

The front camera of both the phones come with the 8 MP sensors. The front camera of this phone will capture the videos at the 30 frames per second.

The new Nokia phone comes with the better specifications in the camera section. The megapixels of the front camera is not changed, but still, the front cameras of Nokia are good.

Nokia 5.1 2018 vs Nokia 5: Other features and specifications-

Both the smartphones are 4G, which comes with the VoLTE support, hope the dual VoLTE update will give by the HMD Global, but this is not the big deal because maximum smartphones come with the VoLTE instead of Dual-VoLTE.

The placement of the fingerprint sensor is not changed, because both the smartphones are launched with the fingerprint sensor placement on the front side of this phone.

The battery is slightly reduced at this time because original Nokia 5 was launched with the 3,000 mAh battery, but this new Nokia phone is launched with the 2,970 mAh battery. Both the batteries are non-removable.

Nokia 5.1 2018 vs Nokia 5: The verdict-

The new Nokia 5.1 2018 is launched with the better specifications and features. The display is changed completely of the new Nokia phone. The rear camera of this phone is changed too. other features are same and fingerprint sensor placement is placed at the same place.

I am really glad, the display and camera of this phone are good but the RAM and internal storage are really low, and I am not accepting this new smartphone, because of the low internal memory, low RAM, and higher pricing.

So this article revealed everything about these smartphones but still if you have anything to ask then comment below to tell, I feel really good when you share your thought with me, use the comment below and tell me, how much you like new Nokia phone than the old one.
