Blue, Black, and Gold color variants are launched of this phone. This is the premium phone and after the Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo, this is the only phone comes with the dual-camera setup on the rear.

The phone is dual-Sim, which supports the Nano-Sim cards. The best thing here is this phone is launched with the dedicated memory card slot, where you will be able to use two Sim cards with the dedicated memory card. The body of this phone is made of the Polycarbonate Plastic. The phone is launched at the price of ₹18,990 in Hindustan, which gets around $279 of the USA. The company didn't reveal anything about the launch date of this phone in the international market.

The display of this phone comes with the Super-AMOLED touchscreen which confirms the good and vibrant colors of the display. The screen to body ratio of this phone os 75.58% which is good at this price point.

The 2.5D curved display is used in this phone which makes this phone attractive and tough. The Samsung Galaxy J8 comes with the large 6 Inches display and the resolution of this display is quite low, even it would be really hard for the Super-AMOLED to fill this drawback.

Processors, OS, and storage-

The Samsung Galaxy J8 comes with the latest Android 8.0 Oreo, which comes with the Experience UI 9.0. There is no confirmation about the Android P update of this phone, but according to me, this phone will be upgraded in Android P after some time of the launch of that OS.

This phone is launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Octa-core processors. The maximum clock-speed of this phone is 1.8 GHz. These processors are 64 Bit and the 14nm technology is used here, which is smooth and fast.

The phone comes with the internal storage of 64 GB and the expandable memory of this phone is 256 GB via memory card. The phone contains 4 GB of RAM for the smooth multitasking. 

To handle the Graphis this phone is launched with the Adreno 506 GPU, which is really good at this price. The LPDDR3 RAM is used in this phone.

The Samsung Galaxy J6 is launched with the latest Operating system, the RAM of this phone is Okay at this price but the processors of this phone are not strong in this price range. I am not comparing these processors with the Chinese smartphones. 

I am here comparing this smartphone with the Nokia, which comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processors and 6 GB RAM with the notch design and the price of that phone is lower than this one.

Camera-

The Samsung Galaxy J8 comes with the dual-camera setup on the rear and this Samsung phone became the cheapest smartphone with the dual-camera after Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo.

The phone is launched with the 16+5 MP on the rear. The camera of this phone supports HDR too. the main camera is the 16 MP sensor which comes with the aperture size of f/1.7 and the 5 MP sensor is the secondary camera, which comes to measure the depth and give you Bokeh effect. The 5 MP sensor of this phone comes with an aperture of f/1.9.

The front camera of this phone comes with the 16 MP sensor. the aperture of the front camera of this phone comes with the f/1.9. The front camera of this phone comes with the LED Flash too for the low-light Selfies. The front camera of this phone can record the 1080P videos at the 30 Frames per second.

The camera setups on this phone are really better than the most smartphones in this price range, and according to my knowledge, you will like the camera setup of this phone and the front camera of this phone comes with the good camera clarity. If you are camera lover then this phone will suit you.

Other features and specifications-

The Samsung Galaxy J8 is the 4G phone which comes with the VoLTE support too. The phone is launched with the Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, FM Radio etc. The Micro USB 2.0 is available in this phone too but this is not the Type-C charging.

This phone comes with the 3,500 mAh battery but this doesn't support fast-charging.

Verdict-

The Samsung Galaxy J8 launched with the 6 Inches large display but because of the low-resolution, this phone's display won't be stand against other smartphone's display in same price range.

The processors of this phone is not that good too, but the RAM and the internal storage is good but if you are heavy games then you should ignore this smartphone but these processors can easily handle daily tasks easily and there won't be lag. Normal users will buy this smartphone.

The camera setups are really good and the dual-camera setup on the rear side comes with the wide aperture which is good and the front camera of this phone looks good too and the high resolution and the front flash makes this camera really good.

So, the Samsung Galaxy J8 is getting the pick from me but only then, if the cameras are important for you and you can negotiate with other features of your smartphone.
