Samsung Galaxy S Light phone is launched instead of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite and S8 Mini. This phone is launched in China. This phone is the lite variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8. This phone is launched with the almost same design, sane fingerprint sensor, and the same premium design.

The Black and Red color variants are launched of this phone. The price of this phone is 3,999 Yuan in China and this would be around $629 of the USA, which is a price of the Flagship smartphone. But is this really that much flagship?

The front and rear panel of this phone is made of the Glass to make this phone look premium. The frame of this phone is made of the Aluminum. The Samsung pay comes on this phone too.

The thing what you will like in this phone, the phone is 4G, which comes with the VoLTE support. The best thing here, you will get the 3.5mm jack too to use the earphones.

The phone contains the Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, FM Radio, and type-C 2.0 reversible charger. The fingerprint sensor is located on the rear side of this phone. The phone comes with the support of the Face-unlock feature and the Iris scanner too.

This phone is launched with the 3,000 mAh battery and this battery supports quick-charging too, but let me tell you one thing, Samsung Galaxy S Light will support this feature in some countries because Samsung won't give this feature to all the countries.

This is the IP68 certified phone, which makes this pone water-proof and dust-proof completely. This will definitely give you an advantage over the Chinese phones because you will be able to use this smartphone in the rain too, and This certification gives you the freedom to use the camera of this phone in the rain too.

This is the dual-Sim smartphone which comes with the Hybrid Sim slots, the Hybrid Sim slot allows you to use two Sim cards without a memory card or one Sim card with the memory card.

Display-

The Samsung Galaxy S Light launched with the large infinity FHD+ display. The phone doesn't come with the Notch design, Which is really amazing and the Samsung never copied the iPhone X design which makes this company different from the league, because most smartphone companies are copying iPhone X design at this time.

This phone is launched with the 5.8 Inches large infinity FHD+ Display. The display ratio of this phone is 18.5:9. The phone is launched with the 1080x2280 Pixels resolution and the pixel density of this display is 426 PPi, which seems to be good.

The display of this phone is Super-AMOLED, which enhances the color and overall display than the normal IPS LCD touchscreen.

The Samsung Galaxy S Light launched with the large display and the screen to body ratio of this phone is 84.2%, which is really amazing.

The phone will give you really good display and the because of this long and large display, you won't be able to use this phone with the single hand.

Processors, OS, and storage-

The phone is launched with the Android 8.0 Oreo, which is the latest and this phone will get the Android P update too after the official launch of this variant of Google Android OS.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 was launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processors but, this smartphone is launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processors.

The two chipsets are used here by the company with the different clock-speeds. The first Quad-core chipset of this phone comes with the maximum clock-speed of 2.2 GHz and another chipset of this phone comes with the maximum clock-speed of 1.8 GHz.

To handle the Graphics, this phone is launched with the Adreno 512 GOU, which is not that good but it can easily handle heavy Graphics with the ease.

The phone is launched with the 4 GB of RAM and the internal storage of the 64 GB, which can be expanded up to 400 GB via memory card.

Without any doubt, the Samsung Galaxy S light Luxury is launched with the decent internal storage and the RAM of this phone is decent too, but I have to say the processors of phone are not good according to the price because same processors you can get in the Nokia 7 Plus and the price of that phone is lower than this phone.

Camera-

The Samsung Galaxy S Light comes with the single camera on the rear, which supports the PDAF(Phase Detection Auto-Focus too, the PDAF helps to take the clear shots of the moving objects.

The phone is launched with the 16 MP camera sensor on the rear side and the aperture of this camera is f/1.7. The rear camera of this phone can record the 4K videos at the 30 Frames per second.

The front camera of this phone comes with the 8 MP sensor and this front camera is launched with an aperture size of f/1.7, which will help to take good Selfies in the low-light too.

The cameras of this phone look good with the wide aperture and this will deliver you good images in both the lights, but this is not the best camera smartphone in this price range.

Verdict-

The Samsung Galaxy S Light is launched with the decent specifications, without any doubt the launched phone is the lite variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the price of this phone confirms, how premium this phone is.

The phone gives you decent look, wireless charging, good display and the good camera setup but the processors of this phone are not that good.

Nokia 8 was launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processors and the price of that phone is around $450 and the RAM of this that phone is 6 GB. The processors of this phone are not up to the mark.

I am kicking this out and you should consider other smartphones in this premium segment instead of Samsung Galaxy S Light.
