LG Q8 2018 launched in South Korea KRW

LG Q8 2018 is launched in South Korea as the latest LG mid-range phone and upgraded version of LG Q7. This is the new phone of LG Q Series. This phone is certified by MIL-STD 810G. Black and Blue color variants are launched for this phone. The phone is launched with the price of 5,39,000 KRW, which gets around $481 for the USA. Before this phone, the L Q7a, Q7, and Q7 Plus were launched with the military graded certificate.

This is the dual-Sim smartphone and lets me tell you, you will love to know, this phone is launched with the normal dual-Sim slot and there is a dedicated memory card slot available too, which is the highlight of this phone and I personally liked this thing. This phone is certified by the IP68, which is a good thing and you will love to use this phone in the rain because this phone is waterproof and dust-proof.

This phone is certified by the MIL-STD 810G, which is a military graded certificate and confirms the durability of this smartphone. The phone is launched with the 3.5mm jack too for the earpieces. The USB Type-C is given by the company in this latest LG MId-range phone. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the rear side of this phone.

To give the power, the phone is launched with the 3,300 mAh battery, the battery is non-removable. The phone supports Quick-Charging 3.0, which can charge this smartphone faster. The phone contains Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC etc. The Stylus launched with this phone too.

Let me tell you, the IPS LCD display is used in this phone, which enhances the colors and gives good viewing angles. The screen to body ratio of this phone is 80.8%.

The display of this phone is good and the resolution of this display is good. LG Didn't compromise here but this is not a Super-AMOLED display but still, if the display is your main priority then you will like this display.

This phone is launched with the Android 8.1 oreo, which is the latest and soon the Android 9.0 Pie (Name of this upcoming Android is confirmed now) will be launched too. The Otca-core is used in this phone with the maximum clock-speed of 1.6 GHz, but you will not like this thing, what I am gonna to say, the phone is launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Processors, which is the major drawback of this phone. 

You can easily get Qualcomm 6 series processors and let me tell you, the Nokia 8 comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 at the same price. The Adreno 506 GPU is used in this phone, which is a drawback too for the gamers.

The 4 GB RAM is given by the company and the internal storage is 64 GB, which is expandable up to 512 GB via memory card. 

The processors are the major drawback of this phone and if you are a heavy gamer then you should ignore this smartphone because it is not capable to handle heavy games. I think you should consider Nokia 8 at this price, which is better than this one.

LG Q8 2018 Camera-

You won't believe but this phone is launched with the single camera on both sides. The rear camera of this phone is launched with the 16 MP sensor. This camera is launched with the PDAF (Phase detection auto-focus) technology, which helps to lock focus on the moving object like running cars etc. This camera can read the QR Codes too and this will detect the picture and give you information about that object from the internet, this is cool. 

The rear camera of this phone is capable to record videos at the 1080P, and this is because of Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processors. This processor can't record the 4K videos. The front camera of this phone comes with the 5 MP sensor, and 18mm lens is used in this phone. The front camera of this phone is capable to record the videos at the 1080P.

LG Q8 2018 the final verdict-

This latest Mid-range phone is launched with the large 6.2 Inches infinity display and display resolution is good for this price. The phone became the new phone of LG Q Series but, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processors are the major drawback of this phone. The phone contains good RAM and the internal storage is good too. But processors are not good.

The single rear camera is used in this phone, but this can record the 1080P videos, which is not a good thing. The front camera of this phone is not that good too. The phone is not worth to buy and I am giving the kick to this phone. At this price, I will recommend you to buy Nokia 8 or Sony Xperia XA2 Plus.
