MediaTek Helio X40 or MTK 6779 the upcoming SoC is listed on the Geekbench after the launch of Helio P70 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 675. The Qualcomm Snapdragon processors are the most popular for the Android mobile phones. After the Qualcomm, the MediaTek processors are the most favorite because of the higher performance and lower pricing.
Now MediaTek is ready to launch a new SoC after the Helio P70. According to the GizmoChina, the new MediaTek processor is listed on the Geekbench. The single core score of this processor is 2,025 and the multicore score is 6,831. This Score is 35% higher than the Helio P60.
This is an Octa-core processor, which will be launched with the maximum 2 GHz Clock-Speed. The Cortex-A75 will be used in this SoC, which is 34% faster than the Cortex-A73. The Exynos 9820 and Snapdragon 845 uses the Cortex-A75.
