Sharp Aquos R2 Compact has been launched in Japan with the two notches design. You will get the tear-notch on the upper side of the phone and Apple notch design on the bottom side of the phone. The pricing is not revealed for this phone too, which is disappointing.
The frames are made of the Aluminum. The Glass is used on the front side of the phone to make this attractive. The Plastic is used on the rear side of this phone. This is an IP68 certified phone, which is water and dust proof. One thing is good in the phone, which is a 3.5mm jack.
The fingerprint sensor is used on the front side of the phone, this is placed in the bottom side notch design. The USB Type-C is used in this phone. You will get the Bluetooth, Wi-Fi etc in the phone. One thing is not good, which is a 2,500 mAh small battery. This supports Quick-Charging too. The Green, White, and Black colors are available for the phone.

This phone is launched with a decent size. The display size of this phone is 5.2 Inches, which is good and you can handle this phone with the ease. This is infinity display, which is an FHD+ too. The display resolution of this phone is 1080x2280 Pixels. The pixel density of this display is much higher than most of the phone because of the good display size. The PPi of the display is 485.
The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 is used in the phone to protect the display. The IPS LCD IGZO Panel is used in the phone, which is a really good panel and same was used in the Razer Phone too. You will get the HDR10 support in this display, which is a good thing.
I have seen the first time, this kind of features in a Sharp phone. The display is really good and I wanna use this display too because of the good size but the bottom side notch design is not good because it hides some part of the display.

This phone comes with the Android 9 Pie out of the box, which is a good thing. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Processor is used to give the best performance. This is an Octa-core processor, which is made by the combination of two Quad-cores. The first chipset of the phone comes with the 1.7 GHz Clock-speed and another chipset comes with the 2.6 GHz Clock-Speed.
The internal storage of the phone is 64 GB and you will get a 4 GB of RAM too for the multitasking. The memory is expandable up to 512 GB via memory card. For the best Graphics, Adreno 630 GPU is used.
The performance and multitasking of the phone will be really good and you won't face any issue while playing the games. The 64 GB memory would be sufficient for some users but some of the users will have to put the memory card.

Like the other phones, you won't get a dual-camera setup on the rear side of the phone. The single-camera is placed on the rear side and I personally like this. The 22.6 MP rear camera is used with the PDAF technology. You will get the OIS support too for the stable shots. The camera aperture of this sensor is f/1.9. This will shoot the 4K videos at the 30 Frames per second.
The 8 MP sensor is used on the front side of the phone. The camera aperture of this sensor is f/2.2. The front camera will record the videos at the 1080P.
Both the cameras look average and the front camera is not looking that good because there is nothing special. I won't recommend this phone for the cameras. The rear camera can capture good shots but the front camera won't give you decent clarity.

The phone looks good but the price is not revealed by the company, which is really a disappointing thing. The display is good and you can handle this with the single hand. The processors are good enough and the availability of 3.5mm jack makes this phone better too.
The best processors are used in the phone but the front camera doesn't look good. I am can't get give you a final verdict because pricing is not revealed by the company but the perfect price of this phone can be said $450.
