Xiaomi Mi Play smartphone launched in China with the 2 rear cameras and MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. This latest mobile phone became the first phone of the "Mi Play" series. You can see the gradient finishing on the rear panel of this phone. Black, Blue, and Red colors are revealed for this phone and all the color variants come with the Gradient finishing.
The smartphone launched in China at the price of 1,099 Yuan, which gets around ₹11,100 or $159. The international launch date is not revealed for the phone.
This is a dual-Sim phone, which is launched with the Hybrid Sim slots, there is no dedicated slot to put the memory card. You will have to use the memory card in the second slot of this phone. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear side and you can see that in the above image.
The availability of 3.5mm jack is good in the phone but you will get the MicroUSB 2.0, which is not good at this price from this company. The 3,000 mAh non-removable battery is used in the phone.
Xiaomi Mi Play Full Specs and features-
This phone is the first Xiaomi phone with the water-drop notch. The display of this phone is compact but not that much. This is an FHD+ display, which is launched with the resolution of the 10802280 Pixels. The PS LCD display panel is used in this phone. The aspect ratio of this display is 19:9, which is good. The PPi of this display is 432. This is a 2.5D curved display.
The phone runs on the Android 8.1Oreo with the MIUI 10. The MediaTek Helio P35 Octa-core processor is used in this phone with the maximum clock-speed of 2.3 GHz. This SoC runs on the 12nm architecture. PowerVR GE8320 GPU is used to handle the heavy Graphics. The 4 GB RAM is available in the phone for the multitasking and this is a DDR4X RAM.
The dual-camera setup is placed on the rear side of this phone. The 12+2 MP sensors are used,. The 12 MP camera aperture is f/2.2 and the 2 MP is used to measure the depth of the image. This can record videos at the 1080P.
The 8 MP camera sensor is used on the front side of this phone with the aperture size of f2.2. This can record videos at the 1080P.
Xiaomi Mi Play the final words and verdict-
This phone is launched with a decent display. The resolution of this display is good too. I have no issue here with the display because I don't care about the Corning Gorilla Glass. The processors can be said for the price and the RAM is good too.
You can easily multitask between the Apps and games. I have no issue here too because this processor and RAM is good too. I have to say one thing here, the cameras are not that good for the price because you can get Xiaomi Redmi S2 and Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro, which are better than this phone.
This phone is good but you can get a better phone for the price even Xiaomi gives better phones to you. I am kicking this phone because cameras are not that good.
