Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC: Everything

Qualcomm Snapdragon 712

Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC launched as the new Qualcomm processor of 700 series. This will tackle Snapdragon 710, MediaTek Helio P70 and P90. This processor is 10% faster than the previous one. The 700 series is made for the mid-range users and this series comes between the 600 series and 800 series.

The 700 series was launched last year in Mobile World Congress 2018 with the Ai capabilities. This new SoC runs on the 10nm architecture, which is really good because Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 runs on the same architecture. The Ai capabilities give better RAM management and good performance.

This series gives a good experience to the users and this new SoC will enhance your experience too. You will get this processor in the upcoming mid-range phones and this will give you better performance and better battery life than most of the phones in the same price range.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 712: Everything you should know-

This is an octa-core processor, which is made by the combination of two clusters. The dual+hexa-cores are used in this SoC. Let me tell you, Kryo 360 CPU is used in this SoC, which is a good CPU. You will get the Adreno 616 GPU, which can easily handle heavy games with the higher Graphics settings. You will get a lag-free gaming performance with this processor.

As I told you, two clusters are used here. The first dual-core comes with the 2.3 GHz clock-Speed and this will give you good performance. The Hexa-core comes with the 1.7 GHz clock-Speed, which will give you higher battery life with good performance.

This SoC will support dual-Sim cards with dual-VoLTE support. The Max download speed of this SoC is 800mbps and upload speed is 150mbps. This SoC supports NFC and Bluetooth 5.0. You can get the USB Type-C 3.1 support, which will be used for the Quick-charging.

Let we talk about the cameras, this SoC supports maximum 32 MP rear camera or 20+20 MP dual-camera setup, which will record the 4K videos t the 30 FPS. The Quick-charge 4+ is used in this SoC. You will get the HDR10 Displays and the maximum display support of this processor is 1440x3360 Pixels.
This processor is launched for the mid-range phones and I am excited to see the performance and RAM management because this SoC runs on the 10nm architecture, which is used in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 too.

I hope you liked this article. My name is Rohit Choudhry and you are reading the LaunchedPhones. I will meet you in the next article until then take care. You can comment below to tell me, which is your favorite SoC for the mid-range phones? Thank you!
