Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G flagship phone launched

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G flagship mobile phone launched as the latest smartphone of the company. The specs and features are almost similar to the original one. The Mi Mix 3 was launched last year in October. At the time of launch, they confirmed a 5G variant of Mi Mix 3 in 2019, now they have launched that phone with the 5G connectivity.

The frames of this phone are made of Aluminum 7000 series. The Glass is used on the front side and ceramic back is used on the rear side. There is no 3.5mm jack like the last one so this can be problematic for some users.

The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear side, which is faster than the under-display fingerprint sensors. Original Mix 3 was launched with the 3,200 mAh battery but this latest flagship mobile phone is launched with the 3,800 mAh battery.

This phone supports 18W Quick-charging 4+ and 10W wireless-charging. Hybrid Cooling technology is used in this phone to make this phone cool during gaming.

The company revealed a single variant of this phone with the 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage at the price of $649, which gets around ₹49,000. Soon, the company will launch a 128 GB internal storage variant but the pricing of that phone is not confirmed.

I am not impressed with these features. I accept, this is a 5G mobile phone but there is no 3.5mm jack and there is no memory card slot. The internal storage is just 64 GB at this price from Xiaomi, which is not acceptable too, because if you are a gamer then this much memory won't be sufficient for you.

Like most of the latest phones, this phone is launched with the 6.39 Inches display. The display is long and you get a full-view display without any bezels. The display is FHD+ and launched with a display resolution of 1080x2340 Pixels. The aspect ratio of this display is 19.5:9. The Super-AMOLED display panel is used in this phone, which gives you good colors and decent viewing angles.

The screen to body ratio of this phone is 93.4%, which gives almost no bezels in this phone. The display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass. The Pixel density of this display is 403 PPi.

The display is really good and you will love this display but don't think to compare it with the Samsung Galaxy S9 or S10 series but this display is really good in terms of colors and contrast.

This phone runs on the Android 9 Pie with the MIUI 10. Original Mix Mix 3 was launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC but this flagship mobile phone launched with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. This is an Octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.85 GHz.

The Adreno 640 GPU is used in this phone to handle the heavy Graphics. Original was launched with the 256 GB internal storage and 10 GB RAM but the new one is launched with just 64 GB internal storage and 6 GB RAM.

This phone can handle any game or App with the highest Graphic settings. The 6 GB RAM is enough for heavy games but 64 internal storage is not good for this pricing. I didn't like this much internal storage of this phone.

You will get a dual-camera setup on the rear side. The 12+12 MP cameras are used her. The 12 MP is the main sensor and camera aperture of this sensor is f/1.8. The dual-Pixel technology is used here with the optical image stabilization. This is the main sensor and ultra-wide sensor too.

Another 12 MP camera sensor is a telephoto sensor with the camera aperture of f/2.4. This sensor will give you a 2x zoom. The rear cameras are capable to record 4K videos at 60 FPS.

The dual-camera setup is used on the front side too. You will get a 24+2 MP camera setup with the LED flash and I personally like front-flash instead of display flash. This is a pop-up camera. This is a Sony IMX 576 Camera sensor with the Super-low light shots. The 2 MP camera is used to measure the depth of the image. This can record videos at the 1080P.

This phone is launched with a large display and display looks good. You will love this display because this display is really good. The processors are good and the RAM is decent too but the internal storage is not sufficient The cameras are good and you will get a good camera setup.

There is no slot to put the 3.5mm jack. The sliding cameras can break easily and internal storage is not good. I accept, this is a 5G phone but new phones are coming with the 5G support. This phone is not good for this price and you should ignore this phone and you should invest in Samsung Galaxy S10 series.
