Vivo Y17 smartphone launched in India with the 5000 mAh massive battery and water-drop notch design in purple and blue color variants. Let me tell you, this phone's specs and features were already revealed before the launch. Only one variant is launched and the price of this variant is ₹17,990, which goes around $259 for the USA.
This is a dual-Sim phone, which comes with dual-VoLTE support. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear side. There is Hybrid slot to put the memory card and MicroUSB 2.0 is used at the bottom side. I have already told you about the battery capacity and this battery supports 18W quick-charging. The 3.5mm jack is also used.

Vivo Y17 full specifications and features-
This phone is launched with a 6.35 inches HD+ display. The display resolution of this phone is 720x1544 Pixels and the aspect ratio is 19.3:9. The IPS LCD display panel is used in this phone, which produces average colors and average resolution because the display is not that much impressive. The display is 2.5D curved and this is a water-drop notch design in the phone.
The phone runs on the Android 9 Pie with the FunTouch OS 9.0. The MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor is used in this phone with the maximum clock-speed of 2.3 GHz. You will get a 4 GB RAM for the multitasking and 128 Gb internal storage, which is expandable up to 256 Gb via memory card but you will have to compromise with the second Sim slot.
The triple-cameras are used on the rear side and you can see them in the above image. The 13+8+2 MP camera sensors are used. The 13 MP sensor comes with f/2.2. aperture, which is not a good choice after looking at the other phones in the same pricing. The 2 MP is the depth sensor and it comes with f/2.2 aperture, the 8 MP sensor comes with f/2.2 aperture and this is an ultra-wide sensor. The phone can record 1080P. The 20 MP sensor is used on the front side and this sensor comes with f2.0, which means you will get beautiful selfies but pathetic rear side photos.

Vivo Y17: Should you really consider this?
The phone is launched with the beautiful design, I mean really beautiful but apart from the design nothing seems better here because the display is only HD+ and you can easily get FHD+ displays because Samsung gives FHD+ display with the Super-AMOLED display panel.
The processors are okay but it doesn't justify the pricing. The rear cameras are pathetic but the front camera is decent. In short, this phone is junk but not for the selfies lovers. I am giving the kick to this phone and you should consider Samsung Galaxy M30 with the triple-camera setup, Super-AMOLED display, and better features.
