Asus has launched the ROG Phone 2 for the heavy smartphone gamers with the flagship-level specifications and features with higher pricing. Only black color variant is revealed for this phone but the company will reveal the pricing tomorrow in China and there is nothing revealed about the international launch date of this gaming phone.
This is a dual-Sim phone but There is no slot to put the memory card and you should remember this, before buying any variant of this phone. Two variants are launched for this phone and both the variants come with the 12 GB massive RAM. The internal storage of the first variant is 256 GB and another variant of this phone has 512 GB internal storage, which is really massive for a smartphone.
The 3.5mm jack is available in this phone and this is a must thing for a heavy gamer and this jack comes with the DTS X Sound technology, which will give you a crystal-clear sound. The USB Type-C is used in this phone, which will give you faster speed than most of the phones. The ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is placed under the display, which is new technology but this will be slower than the traditional one.
This is hard to believe, but this phone contains a 6,000 mAh massive battery compared to 4,000 mAh battery of Asus ROG Phone. The 4,000 mAh can be charged in just 58 minutes and the full battery will be charged under 2 hours. The phone supports 30W quick-charging also. This phone can be used as the power bank also and this will charge other phones with the speed of 10W. So many technologies are used to make this phone cool during gaming, so you should not worry about the heating issues.

This phone is launched with a 6.59 inches display size and the OLED display panel is used in this phone, which is my favorite display panel. The display resolution is 1080x2340 Pixels and the aspect ratio is 19.5:9. The pixel density is 391 PPi and this display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The refresh rate of this display is 120 Hz and this display supports HDR 10 also. The Corning Gorilla Glass 6 is also used on the rear side and frames are made of aluminum. This is an HDR display.
The phone runs on the Android 9 Pie with ROG UI. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus Octa-core processor is used in this phone and the max clock speed of this processor is 2.96 GHz. Adreno 640 GPU is used in this phone for the best Graphics. The internal storage is 256 GB and 512 GB and the RAM is 12 GB. No memory card slot is there.
Dual-camera setup is used on the rear side. Asus ROG Phone 2: Should you buy this phone?
The company has launched this phone with massive display size and this is a good thing for the heavy gamers. The battery capacity is really massive and you will surely love the battery performance of this phone.
The display is really good because of the OLED panel and a decent resolution. The 120 Hz refresh rate is really good and you will surely love the phone's display. The processors are best till the date and you should not worry about the internal storage, because storage is damn massive than most of the phones. The RAM is 12 GB, which confirms smoothness. The cameras are decent and this will surely impress you with its camera clarity.
