Huawei has Y9 Prime 2019 smartphone with full-view display and Pop-up front camera to tackle the latest Oppo K3 and Realme X mobile phone. Green and blue color variants are revealed for this phone and the price of this phone is ₹15,990, which goes around $240 for the USA or 1,600 Chinese Yuan.
Two variants were revealed for this phone in the international market but, only one variant is launched in India with the 128 GB storage and 4 GB of RAM, the company has skipped the 64 GB storage and 4 GB RAM variant. The glass is used on the front side but the backside is made of the plastic.
This is a dual-Sim phone with dual-VoLTE support. The Sim slots are Hybrid but, 128 GB would be enough for most of the users. The 3.5mm jack is available in this phone and USB Type-C is used at the bottom side. The battery size is 4,000 mAh and there is no quick-charging support. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear side.

The company has launched this phone with a 6.59 inches large display and this display size is a major drawback of this phone. The display resolution is decent, which is 1080x2340 Pixels and pixel density is 391 PPi. The LTPS IPS LCD display panel is used in this phone. The display is 2.5D curved but there is no Corning Gorilla Glass in the phone.
The phone runs on the Android 9 Pie and EMUI 9. You will get HiSilicon Kirin 710 Octa-core SoC with the max clock speed of 2.2 GHz, Mali G51 MP4 GPU is used here to handle the Graphics. Only a single variant is launched in India with the 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage and this is expandable up to 1 TB via memory card slot but there is no separate slot for this.
The triple-cameras are placed on the rear side and you will get 16+8+2 MP camera sensors, where 16 MP is the main sensor with f/1.8, the 8 MP is an ultra-wide sensor and 2 MP comes with f/2.4 aperture to measure the depth. Nothing is confirmed about the 4K video-recording. The 16 MP camera sensor is used on the front side to take the selfies and it can record 1080P videos.

Is Huawei Y9 Prime a good choice?
The phone has been launched with a large display and this is a major drawback this phone otherwise, this is a decent display but you can find better displays than this phone. The processors are decent and you will like the performance. The RAM is decent but internal storage is impressive at this pricing. The cameras are Okay but if your main priority is a camera then you should choose another phone. I am giving the pick to this phone but you can choose Samsung Galaxy M30 at this pricing.
